Geo-fencing decides which countries a dynamic code works in. It is not available for static codes.

Set it up

The Geo-fencing window with Block-list selected: an Add country box, the choice of Block page or Fallback URL when a scan is blocked, and Save rules.
  1. Open My QR Codes and click Analytics on the code.
  2. Under Configuration, in the Access group, click Geo-fencing.
  3. Choose a Mode:
    • Worldwide: no restriction.
    • Allow-list: only the countries you add can open the code.
    • Block-list: everyone except the countries you add can open the code.
  4. Add countries with Add country…. You can search by name or country code.
  5. Under When a scan is blocked, choose:
    • Block page: scanners see a page saying "This QR code isn't available here".
    • Fallback URL: scanners go to another web address you enter instead.
  6. Click Save rules.
